hey everyone! i haven't updated in awhile, but i'm alive, i promise!

yesterday we moved duke, the oldster horsie, off to his dad's house to live contentedly in private, with his over-the-fence buddies gabe and delilah. we're hoping (and pretty certain) that the lack of a little brat bossing him around 24/7 will help him gain back all the weight he's lost. we'll miss him, but it's so much better for him in general. plus i get to see him every week, so there. :B

and so spirit isn't lonely, tina brought over her mare savannah, a biiiig leopard appaloosa. [link] she's sorta fugly as far as conformation goes, but you see her move and she's suddenly stunning. she has this funny little prowly trot on those long legs and teeny feet that makes me crack up. xD

and she's uber mare who beats up the little booger all the time, so i'm totally happy. he brings it on himself, though...little shit thinks he's a stallion. x.x

tomorrow is my and spirit's 1-year anniversary. i think i'm going to make carrot cupcakes tonight to celebrate.
